account on the admission portal to get their new CBT Schedule Date/Time

GENERAL CBT INSTRUCTIONS
(i) JAMB/UTME Result Notification Slip and a copy of your POST-UTME CBT Print-out must be presented at the screening center.
(ii) GSM and other electronic devices except simple calculators are not allowed at the screening center.
(iii) Parents, Guardians and other unauthorized personnel will not be
allowed at the screening centre during the Post-UTME screening exercise
(iv) Arrival to the venue is STRICTLY not earlier than 30 minutes before your scheduled time.
(v)Screening Result will be made available by SMS/Online after the whole screening exercise.
(vi)Keep STRICTLY within your scheduled time as THE POLYTECHNIC IBADAN
may not guarantee accommodating you outside your scheduled time.
(vii)Any candidate who supplies false information in the course of processing this admission stands disqualified.

YABATECH 2014 POST UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (UTME) SCREENING EXERCISE
This
is to inform all Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
candidates who have applied for admission into Yaba College of
Technology as First Choice and Second Choice that the 2014 Post UTME
screening exercise will hold on Friday, 5th – Saturday, 6th September 2014.
The
screening is open to those candidates who chose Yaba College of
Technology and have scored 150 and above for ND Full Time and 180 and
above for 1ST DEGREE (NSUKKA) in the 2014/2015 UTME.
All candidates are hereby requested to visit the College website www.yabatech.edu.ng for application details. Application will commence from 6th August 2014 and close on 2nd September, 2014.
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Candidates
for the Direct Entry into Bachelors’ Degree Programmes in School of
Technical Education being run in affiliation with University of Nigeria,
Nsukka, who must have applied through the Joint Admission and
Matriculation Board (JAMB) are required to be checking the College
Portal for information on their screening.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
All
candidates should visit the College website www.yabatech.edu.ng and
click on “Post UTME Application 2014” and complete the application
process appropriately.
Applicants are to pay One thousand, five hundred Naira (N1,500.00) for the Post UTME Test and Result checking & One thousand (N1,000.00) for Past Questions, using their ATM card (MasterCard, Visa, Verve) by clicking on Pay Now.

LASU:Student Rejoice Over Reversal Of Tuition Fees
The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola has ordered the reversal of the tuition Fees in the Lagos State University to its previous status.
This according to report was stated by the Governor at the convocation ceremony of the institution.
It would be recalled that there was a hike in Tuition fees which led to protests by students of the institution which led to 34% to 60% reduction on the fees by the governor.
This however was again rejected by staff and students of the institution.
If this is implemented students will again pay as low as N25, 000.

NYSC Announces The Redeployment Of Corps Members From Seven Northern States.
The affected states are Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano and Yobe states.
A statement on Thursday in Abuja by the Director of Public Relations in NYSC, Mrs. Bose Aderibigbe, said the decision followed the high rate of insecurity in some parts of the North.
The corps members are part of the 2014 Batch 'B' Orientation Course scheduled to commence next week Tuesday August 5, 2014.
The NYSC said due to logistic reasons, the orientation course will be conducted in two streams for different states.
The Stream One exercise will be conducted from Tuesday, August 5 to Tuesday, August 26 2014 in Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, Oyo, Niger, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Benue, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, FCT, Imo, Kebbi, Kaduna, Kogi, Katsina, Nasarawa, Ogun, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba and Zamfara states.
Corps members posted to states listed in the Stream One category will undergo the orientation course in their respective states of deployment.
The statement explained that the Stream Two exercise, meant for the affected northern states, had been scheduled for Monday, September 1, 2014 to Monday, September 22, 2014.
Corps members posted to Adamawa State will have their orientation programme in Niger; Bauchi corps members are expected to resume in Plateau State orientation camp while those posted to Borno State are to proceed to the Nasarawa State camp.
Other affected states are Gombe, where corps members are expected to serve in Benue and Jigawa State corps members are expected to have their orientation programme in Kaduna.
Corps members posted to Yobe State are expected to resume at the Federal Capital Territory Orientation camp.
